Hacienda Arandinas: Reviews & Ratings
February 2025 This a local neighborhood Mexican restaurant with a cultural atmosphere. Usually no wait and provided with great service. I ordered the Chicken Flautas again off the lunch menu and a great selection. I was craving a margarita on the rocks and got one too. The flavor of the food has always been consistent and with great flavor. May 2023 Hacienda Arandinas is on our regular restaurant lunch rotation where they have great Mexican food and close to home. This visit I enjoyed the Miguel’s Favorite where it’s like a sample plate with one cheese enchilada, one crispy chicken taco, and a small bowl of tortilla soup. I also ordered a margarita on the rocks. The whole thing was really good and the tortilla soup was delicious.
Its a quiet place to have good conversation and the food is good..service was polite..my waiter was asking me if I need a refill for chips, drink and sauce. I didn't have any complaints
Service was Great... but we couldn't "HEAR" ourselves due to the Loud Music! Having the volume so loud was the only negative thing I experienced while eating there. Won't be going back again
I'm pretty ashamed that I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years and I'm only now trying this place. I would have taken a picture of my breakfast tacos but they were so good I kind of blacked out while eating them lol. Price per quality on the entire menu is super fair and they went really hard on the dining area. Very clean atmosphere with a full bar. Can't wait to come back for dinner!! Also just want to say that the lady who helped me at the counter was very sweet. Will not be going to either of the taco trailers on the street anymore.
Wish we found this place sooner! My wife and I had great service from our server Adriana and wonderful food. We enjoyed the carnitas tacos and burritos as well as a couple margaritas. Can't wait to go back!
This place was a huge surprise! I’d never been here before and stopped in on the way back home. It’s a large restaurant with big wooden tables and booths. There’s a small bar area as well. The chips and salsa were delicious, especially the red salsa. I ordered tortilla soup and it was incredible! Some of the best I’ve ever had. My friends’ tacos and enchiladas were very tasty as well. Casa Arandinas is worth the drive from Austin. Come on down if you love Mexican food!
We celebrated my sister's Bday. Mariachi was Awesome like always.
From the outside this place looks pretty far from a hacienda. However, upon opening the mirrored-glass door we are greeting by friendly staff and authentic interior Mexican muisc in the air. The old school wooden chairs, tile floor and stucco walls with original paintings of mythical Mexican subjects bring you quickly into the spirit of a frontier hacienda. We were immediately availed with fresh warm chips along with both a spicy green and a more mild classic red sauce. I started off with a top shelf margarita on the rocks which actually tasted amazing. After those first few sips I felt myself drifting off to one of those magical town squares in small town Mexico. Then the fresh guacamole arrived and I slipped ever deeper into the easy siesta vibes. The food arrived in style with a classic sizzling iron skillet and amazing smells. This was classically prepared north interior Mexican fare. It was absolutely delicious. In fact, I finished the food before I finished my margarita. So we sat and enjoyed the smooth sounds of music, as if we were in an actual hacienda courtyard. Of course, a little imagination always goes a long way to enhance the experience.
